His research interests are general purpose technologies, microeconometric studies of innovation behaviour, sustainable innovations and international trade. He published papers on these issues in international journals. ALFRED KLEINKNECHT is Professor of Innovation Economics at Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands. His research interests are innovative behaviour of firms and labour market issues on which he has published in international journals.
