About Peter C. Jupp

Peter C. Jupp is a Visiting Fellow in the Department of Sociology of the University of Bristol. He is the author of From Dust to Ashes: cremation and the British way of death (Palgrave Macmillan, 2007) and the co-editor of Interpreting Death: Christian Theology and Pastoral Practice (on behalf of the Churches' Funeral Group- Cassell, 1997). He is a founding editor of the journal Mortality and Chair of the Council of the Crematorium Society of Great Britain.Contributors include:Douglas Davies, Leonie Kelleher, Anne Dent, Hilary Grainger, Kevin McGinnell, Brian Parsons, Paul Badham, Anne Eyre and John Lampard.
