(reads) "Mrs. Munsey," and "Mrs. Lemmingworth." Lord save us! (bell rings again) Now, you can just wait, whoever you are - it won't hurt you. (she gives a final rub to a chair, hides the dust cloth behind her back, and goes into the hall. Sound of outer door Mrs. Lemmingworth. (without) Good morning, good morning, Janie. Good gracious, child! what do you mean? Don't you know better than to shake a rag in the house? That comes of not having a woman in the house. Poor man! Janie. "Poor man!"
