Turn back the pages of history. We are ready to go back a hundred steps. I don't look back in life. We broke the back of terrorist groups. We cannot turn the clock back now. We must resolve to break the back of enemy. BAD- The best of a bad bunch! The book was in bad shape. BEAR- Party would have to bear the brunt of people's anger. The city bore the brunt of the natural disaster. BEYOND- She was intelligent beyond belief. Some things are beyond punishment. BLOOD- A good book is the life-blood of its author. Travelling is in my blood from birth. BORN- He was born an American and died an American. Common man is a born loser here. Some More Idioms and Phrases -- B- Ball ---- He had tried to lob the ball in CM's court. Ball ---- Now ball is in the government's court. Bark ---- He was barking up the wrong tree. Bend -- Development Authority bent rules to allot prime plots. Beneath ---- He thinks clerical job is beneath him. Blew ---- He first blew the lid off the false encounter killing. Boon ---- It is a boon if used for our welfare and a bane if used for destruction. Bread ---- Nowadays his bread is buttered. Brick ---- Don't go down on people like a ton of bricks. Brickbat ---- We should learn to accept the brickbats with the bouquets. Buy ---- We are not buying the argument.
