Books Info:

House Calls free pdf A hospital stay is a vulnerable situation. It is one in which patients and their families have, often suddenly, been placed, finding themselves confronted with a series of unknowns, which cause fear and confusion, anxiety, and stress. Lives are disrupted or even changed forever. Few things can enhance a hospital stay as much as a visit from a friend. In interviews, patients consistently say the most powerful element in making their time more pleasant is the presence of a friend. This audiobook provides practical how-to steps to show that hospital visits can be easy and fun and that anyone can do it, even without a degree or a license. And while this visitor's kit was originally designed for visiting hospital patients, it can be just as useful in visiting friends in nursing homes and prisons. So go out there, and help heal the world one visit at a time.
