I also hope to leave the reader a sense that they are not alone in their daily journey with Attention Deficit Disorder and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

About Jennifer East

Author/illustrator Jennifer East is a semi-retired graphic designer/illustrator of 16 years. Several years ago she decided to dedicate her time to her four children, while they were still young. Her second oldest son, Collin, then in 5th grade, suggested this book, while driving home from a school event. Ms. East is the only member of her family of six who doesn't have ADD traits. Her mission for this book is two fold. The ADD/ADHD child will enjoy the poetry and illustrations, while celebrating in their uniqueness, and the non-ADD/ADHD family member(s) will gain some insight when living and caring for them. Ms. East is not a doctor, but having to care for four ADD children and share a relationship with an ADD husband, she feels she may have practical experiences to share with others. Her children have shared their experiences and have given their stamps of approval on each poem. It is a reflection of how they feel about themselves. Ms. East also hopes to leave the reader a sense that they are not alone in their daily journey with Attention Deficit Disorder.
