About Pat Webbink

Dr. Pat Webbink earned a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Duke University in 1974. Over the past forty years, she has created and directed an extensive private psychotherapy practice in Bethesda and in the Washington, DC metro area that serves couples, groups, families, and individuals. She is a pioneer in the use of guided imagery with music in psychotherapy. She has produced a series of sixteen CD's incorporating creative visualizations in self-help and relationship enhancement. These recordings have been sold all over the world and some have been translated into German, French, and Spanish. Speaking on a wide range of topics, Dr. Webbink frequently appears on TV and radio, including the Oprah Winfrey Show, Good Morning America and Voice of America in three languages. Most recently she has been speaking about stingers and clingers on SpotliteRadio.com. In 1986, she published "The Power of the Eyes," with Springer Publishing Company. A comprehensive, scholarly treatise on visual communication, this book was adopted as a monthly selection by the Behavioral Science Book Club.
