Books Info:

Reorganize for Resilience free pdf There are over three million commercial websites and at least 25 books extolling the virtues of customer centricity in phrases ranging from 'customer-centered brand management' to 'customer centered Six Sigma'. You name it, somebody's labeled it 'customer-centered'. Many companies these days claim to be 'close to customers' and 'customer driven'. But when businesses put their customers at the center of the organization, customers end up like tops, spinning from department to department from silo to silo in search of someone who can actually help them, only to be sent to an outside vendor. Sure, customer centricity makes for good advertising copy and great mission statements but it also makes for operational hell and job confusion. Not surprisingly, the problem is not one of strategy but of execution. According to Ranjay Gulati, managers have figured out what consumers want and what their company should offer, but they are only now appreciating the huge institutional barriers that prevent them from delivering. This book will be the first to distill a practical process by which companies can overcome the organizational obstacles to implementing marketing strategies.
