Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz, of Jerusalem, is internationally regarded as one of the leading scholars and spiritual leaders of this century, whose advice is sought by statesmen and simple people alike. Best known for his commentaries and translations of the Babylonian Talmud, Rabbi Steinsaltz works with teams of scholars and editors in producing the different Talmud editions in Hebrew, English, French, Russian and Spanish.
