Books Info:

The End of All Worlds free pdf Eleanor, a literature graduate with a passion for the old legends, is lost and feared dead when she becomes separated from her group on an expedition in the Icelandic Highlands, but emerges out of the wilds nine days later with stories of the huldufolk. Odinn, who has committed crimes in his own world and has been cast out to walk the world of men for all eternity, desires to return home. He enlists the help of Charles Ancell, a young, ambitious, aluminum developer to build a revolutionary new factory in the Icelandic Highlands to provide cheap metal. The techniques used will break apart the fragile bridge between the worlds. As a consequence of this our world and its climate is set to change irrecoverably. Eleanor's brother, Ben, a student concerned with the effects of climate change in the north Atlantic has uncovered some alarming predictions. Reunited with his sister, he joins her quest to stop the construction of the factory but because of the effects it will have on the world's climate rather than to believe her assertions that huldufolk have asked her to save their world."

About T. E. Shepherd

Thomas was born in 1973 and grew up in Lowestoft, Suffolk before moving to Cheshire to study a degree in Creative Arts. Having worked as an electronic production editor for science and academic publishers in Oxford, he now works as a Web and Digital Media Officer for a top modern university. He lives in Oxfordshire with his wife Emma and their seven cats, four chickens and two bunnies. He's different. He's not your usual person. Lots of people can say that about themselves but with Thomas it's true. Just ask his wife! He only discovered how different in the last ten years when he discovered that he has Asperger's Syndrome, which is on the mild end of the autism spectrum. In subtle, subconscious ways it affects his writing. For someone who is, on occasion, somewhat clueless and inept in social situations, he has been praised on his dialogue. As a person he also have difficulty reading visual cues and body-language and consequently his editors often tell me he's telling too much when I should be showing. Show not tell they say and I have to really work hard to achieve that!
