About Katherine Redfern

Katherine Redfern has a degree in Fashion and Textiles. After a number of happy years in the fashion industry, a part-time course in Children's Book Illustration lead to her winning First Prize in the 1998 Macmillan Prize for Children's Book Illustration. This life-changing event set her on her current path of writing and illustrating books for children. Katherine lives in South London with her husband, daughter and cat. Sebastien Braun studied Fine and Applied Arts at Strasbourg University, after which he worked as a freelance illustrator in Paris before moving to London in 2000. Since then he has been developing his illustrations for children. This is his second title for Campbell Books.
