About Richard H Thaler

Richard Thaler began his Afro-Latin percussion studies in 2000 under the tutelage of Angel Luis Figueroa and later with Maestro Lazaro Galarraga at the Paws Music Institute in Los Angeles. He became an instructor at Paws Music in 2008, where he continues to teach. Besides performing with Mr. Figueroa and Mr. Galarraga, he has also played with the 'Level Two' Afro- Latin percussion ensemble. He currently lives in Santa Monica, California with his beloved wife, Agnes and their German shepherd, Bailey. Their two grown children, Nicholas and Benjamin stop by from time to time.
