About Negar Mottahedeh

Negar Mottahedeh is Associate Professor in the Program in Literature at Duke University, USA. She has published articles in Camera Obscura, Signs, Iranian Studies, Radical History Review, The Drama Review and in the Journal for Early Popular Visual Culture. Her first book, Representing the Unpresentable on the Babi movement and its relation to Iran's formation as a nation was published in 2008 by Syracuse University Press. Her second monograph, Displaced Allegories: Post-Revolutionary Iranian Cinema was also published in 2008 by Duke University Press.
