And Lovely is the Rose PDF ePub eBook

Books Info:

And Lovely is the Rose free pdf And Lovely is the Rose presents a selection of 50 roses whose charm has endured over generations. These thoughtfully selected roses are available worldwide to grace any garden, large or small. Each rose has been placed in chronological order so that the history of this beloved flower can be appreciated, as well as the years of patient breeding and cultivation that have gone into creating the modern roses of today. Among flowers, the rose is unique, as many varieties have the capacity to produce blooms for up to six months of the year in North America and Europe, and even up to nine months in warmer climates. The attribute of a long flowering period has been a consideration in the selection of roses for the book. As well as a brief note on the history and attributes of each particular rose, cultivation notes have also been included. And each rose is beautifully illustrated in an accompanying botanical painting.
