The ambition of the book is to contribute to answering the recent debates in the field: Why has public management reforms become such a prominent issue? What relevant models and methods have been influential? How can these reforms be deliberate changes in structures, processes and incentives improving efficiency, effectiveness and legitimacy in public organisations?

About Tor Busch

Kurt Klaudia Klausen is a professor of public organization and management of the Department of State of Education and Chairman of MPM and MOL at University of Southern Denmark. His research has in recent years focused on strategic management, including the acquisitions related to the Danish Structural Reform. Recent books: Strategic Management - the many venues (2009), Institutional Economics (2006) and Region Formation (2009).
