About Clara H. Greed

Clara Greed is Emerita Professor of Inclusive Urban Planning at the University of the West of England (UWE), and a chartered town planner. Her research interests and other published works centre on urban design, planning, the built environment professions, women and planning issues and the social aspects of cities. David Johnson, prior to becoming a senior planning lecturer at the University of the West of England (UWE), served for twelve years in Bristol, UK, as a leading councillor on planning and transport matters. He has worked as an economic development officer at Southampton City Council- with English Heritage as a regional policy officer- for Future West, a partnership promoting sustainable development in the west of England- and for the NUS as a regional officer.
