Lucas Aykroyd is a Vancouverbased writer whose work has appeared in National Geographic Traveler , Arthur Frommer's Budget Travel , Westworld , Where Vancouver , Western Living , and The Georgia Straight . He serves as a director on the B.C. board of the Travel Media Association of Canada. Above and beyond the travel beat, he covers the Olympic Games, World Hockey Championships, and National Hockey League for IIHF.com. He wrote the majority of the British Columbia entries for this book. Pamela Cuthbert , author of Frommer's Toronto , is a food and travel writer and editor. Her work is published in Maclean's , Saveur , The Edible City , Slow Food Almanac , and elsewhere. She wrote the Ontario top pick entries for this book. Jillian Dickens has spent the last six years living, working, and playing in Nunavut. First as a news reporter, then in tourism development, now writing about the territory from her home base in Toronto. A tourism PR specialist moonlighting as a travel writer, Jillian has published her work in the Globe and Mail , Mercedes-Benz Magazine , and Up! Magazine . She is also a contributor to Frommer's Canada and wrote the Nunavut entries for this book. During her Canadian travels Chloe Ernst has skied on the slopes overlooking her Vancouver home, boated on Montreal's Lachine Canal, and learned P.E.I. fiddle tunes. A freelance journalist, she has written guidebooks, articles, and blog posts, including contributions to Frommer's Best Hiking in British Columbia and Frommer's Vancouver
