Books Info:

Spinning Off the Edge free pdf Spinning off the Edge is a funny, poignant, romantic, sad, hot, challenging feast of a novel about a group of gay and bisexual Latino teens in Miami. At 16, Julian is living on his own with his best friend, Leo, because he's sort-of homeless. His mother-an adventurer-disappeared while hiking in the mountains. She was declared dead, presumed to be a victim of a notorious serial killer, but Julian believes she's still alive and just can't get in touch with him or his father. Julian's trying to cope with his loss and his father's slow disintegration and emotional distance. He's also trying to deal with his break-up with the sexy Sebastian, who wants Julian to go back to being the meek, submissive fey boy-toy he was when they were together, but who also expects to eventually marry a woman and have children, leaving his gay life behind, to please his parents. Julian's also trying to figure out what's going on between him and Tomas after they shared a passionate kiss at a dance club until Tomas's girlfriend, Saryn, caught them. Drawn as he is to Julian, Tomas thinks Saryn is perfect, but Julian gets a scary glimpse of who she really is. And then there's Leo, the astrologist who is constantly charting Julian's next move. While Julian struggles to come to terms with the complexities of his life, life surprises him, utterly. Set in the hot, sensual, dance-y, musical intensity that is Miami.
