OMICS Applications in Crop Science PDF ePub eBook

Books Info:

OMICS Applications in Crop Science free pdf The omics era in plant science started when genome sequencing commenced in 2001, and since then several plant genomes have been completely sequenced and extraction of the genomic information has been implemented for production of high-yielding and disease/stress-resistant plants. In recent years, with the advent of high-throughput omics technologies, the number of complete plant genome sequences is rapidly increasing. This genomic information, along with transcriptomics-, porteomics-, metabolomics-, and other omics-based approaches, is leading plant sciences toward the next generation green revolution. This book incorporates the latest research in this important field of modern crop and plant science.
