About Revolution Hoover Institution on War

Stephen Haber is the Peter and Helen Bing Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution. He is also the A. A. and Jeanne Welch Milligan Professor in the School of Humanities and Sciences at Stanford, where he is a professor of political science, professor of history, and professor of economics (by courtesy). In addition, Haber is a senior fellow at the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research, a senior fellow at the Stanford Center for International Development, and a research economist at the National Bureau of Economic Research. His current research focuses on two areas: the relationship between political institutions and the creation of stable and efficient banking systems- and the long-run influence of climate and geography on democracy and economic growth.
