About John Dumont Hudson

John Dumont Hudson was born the eighth of eleven children of a humble sharecropper in rural Alabama. Energetic and a lover of mischief, his parents' tough love reined him in and restored him to the right path in life. He found faith, and it transformed him to the point that he became a pastor for many Southern churches. After twenty one years, the demands of his family made him an entrepreneur. He spent nearly twenty years wrestling with alligators until he sold the business at eighty years old. Now retired, Mr. Hudson enjoys hunting and fishing.
