Writers included are Adonis, Fudwa Tuqan, al-Ghazzali, Ibn Arabi, Ibn Battuta, Ibn Khaldun, Kahlil Gibran, Mahmoud Darwish, al-Mutanabbi, Naguib Mahfouz, Nizar Qabbani, Salma al-Khadra al-Jayyusi and Taha Hussein.
